Overview
Jasmine Absolute Essential Oil
Jasmine Absolute Essential Oil is drawn from the fragrant depths of night-blooming Jasmine Sambac blossoms. Unlike jasmine grandiflorum, which opens its petals to the dawn, Jasmine Sambac communes with the mystery of the moon and stars, capturing the fragrant essence of the velvet night. From the Oleaceae family, Jasminum Sambac is a slender, erect or climbing evergreen bush that is capable of growing from 1 to 3 metres in height and is shrubbier and woodier than Jasmine Grandiflorum. Its sturdy branchlets are encompassed by elliptic or obovate, dark green compound leaves and adorned with tubular, star-shaped white to pale yellow flowers that are thicker and waxier than Jasmine Grandiflorum. They grow either as an individual blossom or in clusters at the tips of branches. The Jasmine flower is often associated with romance and love. An anti-depressant, an aphrodisiac.
